Try Using An Infrared Mat For Pain Relief
Once an injury occurs a person could endure a trip to the emergency room, months and even years of physical therapy, MRIs, EG tests and countless injections and prescriptions just to manage the pain. Often times these treatments do not work. Using an Infrared Mat as a treatment has been shown to help with injuries.
An Infrared Mat is an infrared heat source that penetrates deeper (6 to8 inches) and more evenly than a heating pad. The Infrared Mat converts electricity into FIR (Far Infrared Rays) or an invisible light that can help with healing the body and treat pain. NASA discovered FIR, and it is the safest, most beneficial light wave for the body¹. FIR reduces swelling and helps to increase blood flow to the body. The Infrared Mat warms the body’s cells and tissue evenly and stimulates healing and regeneration of nerve and muscle tissue.
Infrared Mats can be used to help with ligaments, joint capsules, tendons, fasciae, and synaviurn that have been damaged, scarred or contracted. Heating the tissues to 113 degrees Fahrenheit and then stretching increases mobility by 0.5 to 0.9 percent². Infrared Mats also help with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Heat therapy helps to restore the normal function to the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is the part of the system that controls the unconscious functions that include muscle tension, sweating, blood pressure, digestion, and balance. Since the Infrared Mats can help with the autonomic nervous system, it can help with muscle pain, excessive body odor, digestive, complaints, visual disturbance, and dizziness³.
